Five ND Fellows win USADF grants!

This year, five of our Fellows were among forty winners that were awarded grants by the United States African Development Foundation (USADF). Lebohang Selloane from South Africa, Mohammad Goolamally from Mauritius, Helen Duo from Liberia, Sam Musariri from Zambia and Farai Chizengeni from Zimbabwe, were each awarded $25,000 to expand and launch their businesses in their home countries. In addition to receiving grants, the winners will also receive technical support from USADF to support them in creating new economic opportunities in Africa. USADF runs a business plan competition that is open to Mandela Washington Fellows in the Business and Entrepreneurship track. Read the press release here
