For a second year in a row, the Coca Cola Company has continued to support the Mandela Washington Fellowship Program at the University of Notre Dame. With a focus on women as entrepreneurs, Coca Cola’s support for this program derives from their 5by20 program. This year, Carlos Pagoaga, Group Director Partnerships and Global Community Affairs, at the Coca-Cola Company, visited the Fellows at Notre Dame with a bag of goodies! It was a wonderful surprise for the Fellows when they each received a coke can bearing their names!
Additionally, Fellows had an opportunity to learn more about the company via a video conference call that was also attended by Fellows from other Universities. Lisa Borders, Chair of The Coca Cola Foundation and Vice President of Global Community Affairs as well as Alex Cummings, Chief Administrative Officer at Coca Cola Company, were some of the individuals that Fellows were privileged to watch and listen to about the company’s work around the world.
